Thanks for posting those, Anne. They are just amazing. I'll post the view I have on our Chinese Garden here in Portland, Oregon, tomorrow. So glad I happened by for these.

Here are a couple from the Portland Chinese Garden. As I mentioned elsewhere, I was lucky enough to be in on the ground floor of this project. I and a small crew worked with 150 Chinese artisans from Sou Chou, China, a canal city there and famous for its Gardens, and the Sister City to Portland. It was the single most fascinating thing I ever worked on, by far. They did all the rock work, a local union construction company did the layout and concrete work which was substantial, and then we added irrigation, soil and all the plants.
