Swimming Pools

Since Summer is (apparently for some:sniffle:) not so far off, I have included below a few pools we have either worked around or installed ourselves. Hey, if we can't swim yet, we can think about it! Some of these are pretty high end suckers and, no, those we did not do. We stick more to the "instant installs", pool-wise. Pool constuction is definitely a field of its very own, full of complicated stuff.

But I can make one look good! The first 2 pics are two views of a pool we did near Lake Tahoe, working with a Pool Installer. We did the big rock work, setting them in the poolside. It was actually more than what it ap-pears. We drilled the boulders and set in angle iron and re bar, then attached it all to a cemented structure before the pool was made. We were concerned about them sinking later and thus messing up the pool holding water, or cracking. It was an interesting job. The pavers, by the way, are about as top-of-the-line as you can get. They are an extra inch thick and mottled on their tops, in various mixtures of color. They were also amazingly tough to cut. Many of them actually required grinding with a diamond blade grinder.

The bottom two are from my partner, Bill's, house. This is an in ground job, surrounded by a deck. The view is taken from the water feature beginnings.

Two more views of the Tahoe pool, more along the lines of featuring the actual paving work rather than the pools themselves.

LOL, yes it is crowded in that bottom shot. We definitely "worked our way out", towards the neighbors to the South. We made a sort of 'bridge' by the waterfall that services the pool, going over and up, then South. It worked out to be an interesting effect.

One way for me to get my daily exercise is swimming because my whole body is moving and the best among other exercises. I’ve started this kind of exercise since I was a kid and starting to be a good swimmer as well but what is good about it is what I have achieve with for almost a year. Swimming is a one of the healthy activity that we could do with our daily life. Not only had a sport but set as an exercise too. Keep smiling!
