Lighting your Garden

We love to sit out in our garden in the evening and yes, theres usually a glass of wine or a G&T on the go :) DH is a bit of freak where lightings concerned, always was in the UK and now we get to use our garden more in Spain, well he's loving it.

So thoughts, views comments

Heres a few photos

I have this outdoor room - I call it the Day room - DH calls it the Shed :hmmm:
we have two lights that are of a Moroccan style, then some fairy lights, one set are dragonflies, the ones that hang down further and shine white - which I love and the second just plain bulbs.

We also use 'flame torches' not sure what the correct name is - they are oil filled cannisters in a bamboo spike, we have citronella in to scare off the mossies - we have 4 that surround out table & chairs. We feel like we are in some sort of occult circle when we sit in the circle of flames :) :)

Nice pics Ann. I can see why you like sitting outside with a cool drink or five. ;)

I love the dragonfly lights, you can see just a bit of them in the pics. And :lol2: at the occult "ring of fire."

I absolutely love your day room, Ann! I'd adore to have something like that here, but I think it would have to be scaled down a LOT! :lol2:

Although we don't have much in the way of a beautiful garden....yet....we recently bought some solar power lights for the border and edging. I also have a lot of tea light lanterns which will eventually hang from the trees we plan to buy and plant.

We have some huge citronella candles which will go on or around the decking area :)

I know it's the wrong way round, but they will definitely look pretty once I have managed to create a garden! :lol2:

I've just bought 10 solar lights for the garden. I said to Karen i was half expecting to have a helecopter on the lawn thinking it was it's landing pad :bluelaugh:

I took a couple last night but you can't really see how bright they are in the pics but they look quite good :clap: Sarah i nearly bought some of those t-light lanterns as well. Let me know what their like?.
