Bird of Paradise - my 2nd Flower

I've had these in my garden for about 5 years - one has been really nice to me and this is its 2nd flower :D :D

I planted and grew them on my own in California. Very reliable growers in a good climate and, man, are they ever reliable once they get going. Beuatiful plant!

We have a bird's of paradise plant here in Texas also, but it looks completely different! I remember seeing pictures of the ones you posted when my mom took pictures of them in Germany. I thought she was joking. lol
