MSN handle

Hi folks, I use MSN but I dont know what my "handle" is ? Is it the display name I use ?? which I dont see it being, cos well, its just Ann and there must be tons of Anns ( well at least Steve would be ok ) or can it be found somewhere else ?? :think:

It's whatever the first part of your Hotmail or MSN e-mail address is... that would only apply if you use MSN Messenger for Instant Messaging (IM)

Oh OK, so in my profile where I can put my msn "handle" I just type in my email address then ?

Just the part that's before the @whatever.com. It's so if someone here wants to IM you, they have your "handle".

You don't have to put anything there, it is public information if you do. So you might not want to share it.

OK :confused: done that but the systems say I´ve entered an invalid msn handle, tried in upper & lower caps but no difference, so dont think that matters ?? Any clues

You do have an @hotmail.com or an @msn.com e-mail address? That is the only one that applies to that block.

For MSN you need to put the whole email address as you can get a MSN passport without a hotmail/msn email addy

OK well its not a hotmail or msn account, so I´ll try the whole address - fingers crossed folks ;)
