TCS Updates

For those of you who don't know TCS, it is my pride and joy: TheCatSite.com (http://www.thecatsite.com/forums). We have a wonderful community there, my inspiration for setting up VF.

The TCS forum is currently being upgraded and I have a message in place over there, refering people to the new forums here at VF. So here's an update thread about the upgrade over there (hope that wasn't too confusing :D).

We are migrating the forums, have been doing so for over an hour. Looks like the sheer size of the database means this is going to take slightly longer than expected. We are looking at, hopefully, another hour from now. If you're getting the shakes, register here and post on this thread ;)

We have finished the upgrade on vB. We will now begin finalizing the steps, and then it will be opened once again.

Tricia you know when it mentioned about registering?. Do we have to register as a new member again because i put in my username and password as normal and it wouldn't let me in?

how many more guesses can I have :) :) Nope. It's a new feature that is currently being tested for bugs by the mods. Once they've been ironed out, everybody can play!

I don't believe we can add any more gifts to the Plaza, because the software developer lost interest and stopped adding features/options.

Aw :hugs: Not sure why that's happening! It used to happen to me with my old computer, but not anymore, although I think there have been a few times where the site was down!

Actually, it's coming along nicely - we're testing the beta version now :) Hopefully we'll be able to launch within a few weeks.

It crossed my mind. And I'm not joking.

Anyway. I don't have a garden. I can't even keep a houseplant alive. So needless to say I won't be staying. Just joined to find out what happeend to tcs.
